More than once, my husband and I have commented on the footwear some female host of a renovation or building shows wear to the construction site as not being the safest footwear. That along with my wish to own a pair of pretty red shoes was my inspiration for this drabble.
Of course, there is also a small scene in Don’t Tell Mom I Have a Girlfriend where one character comments on another characters choice of shoes that played into the creation of this drabble. I’m not sure if those two characters will get together or not, but it was fun to think about the possibility.
And that’s what these drabbles are about — fun and story possibilities.
